Mission- 

NAHFE Mission:

  • To Energize, Empower and Inspire a new generation of Hispanics from the GS-12 to the GS-15 levels into the Career Senior Executive Service ranks of the Federal government.

  • To identify, cultivate, and prepare talented Hispanics for advancement into the Career Senior Executive Service ranks.

Vision- 

NAHFE envisions a future where:

  • The Senior Executive Service (SES) of the federal government represents the diversity of the Hispanic community.
  • That allows Hispanics to thrive and contribute their unique talents and perspectives to create a more effective, inclusive,and representative government that reflects the diverse society it serves.
  • Collaboration and inclusivity are at the core of their vision, emphasizing the importance of engaging members to foster creativity, innovation, and effective decision-making.
  • The contributions and perspectives of all its members are valued, ensuring equal opportunities for growth and advancement.

Goals-

  • GOAL 1 - Identify highly-qualified Hispanics in the Federal workforce

  • GOAL 2 - Energize, empower, and inspire a new generation of Hispanic Senior Executives

  • GOAL 3 - Provide career development training

  • GOAL 4 - Provide SES Mentors and other highly qualified GS-15/14 Mentors for our members

  • GOAL 5 - Promote qualified Hispanic candidates for SES

  • GOAL 6 - Advocate for increased Hispanic representation across government

  • GOAL 7 - Expand the organization by creating new chapters nationwide

To accomplish these goals NAHFE employs a multifaceted approach that includes presentations, mentoring programs, Flash Mentoring events, SES informational panel events, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships. By leveraging these initiatives and collaborating with agencies,organizations, and stakeholders, NAHFE aims to drive meaningful progress and bring about lasting change in the federal government's representation of Hispanic executives. Together, we strive towards a future where Hispanic leaders thrive and contribute their unique talents and perspectives, making our government more effective, inclusive, and representative of the diverse society it serves.


Message from the NAHFE President

I am proud to represent the National Association of Hispanic Federal Executives (NAHFE) in helping to take concrete steps to assist Federal agencies in recruiting and hiring qualified Hispanics to meet the unique challenges of the 21st Century. I am inspired by the dedication and professionalism of NAHFE members who help meet the goals of the organization and position NAHFE to help Hispanics advance in their career within Federal Government, and to prepare them for the challenges ahead.
